Shipment

Where possible, we ship goods out on the same day as we see your payment. Deliveries require a signature on arrival, and nothing is sent via standard post. If you are not home between 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday to take delivery, please either give us your work address for delivery, if this is practical, or give us drop off details that we can pass on to the courier, e.g., leave on the deck around the back, behind the shed, etc, or request that they phone prior to delivering. Delivery within the North Island will normally take – on a good week 3 – 8 working days to arrive and in the South Island 5 – 10 working days. This is a Guide only . We use a very good network of freighters so you can feel confident that your goods will get there in good order but if you do experience any problems then please contact us and we will follow this up for you ASAP. We will also combine freight wherever possible so please ask for a quote. Most new products purchased will need assembly as they can’t be freighted to you otherwise. The delivery service is to your property only, and you will need to make your own arrangements regarding getting heavy goods inside your home. Because you can’t get the goods inside your home doesn’t give you the right to refuse delivery after we arrange this for you . Goods leave our Warehouse Tues – Friday, not on a Monday. If you buy something from us after 1pm on a Friday it will next be sent on the Tuesday at 4pm All Deliveries must be checked straight away. Any damage or loss to the goods must be first reported to the driver, then to Fitness World NZ the same day, with pictures attached. You will only have 5 days to make a claim against Fitness World NZ for loss or damage.

Freight charges – Occasionally Some areas maybe more than quoted in the advert, and you could be asked for more money to help with these extra costs

PLEASE NOTE – Delivery time frames will change dramatically and be a lot longer than in a normal Environment, if asked to be delivered in a situation of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., Covid). In a situation such as this, we will not cancel and refund your purchase because goods are stuck in transit, and they are late for delivery. Your goods will arrive when the network clears in due course

We Ship

Fitness equipment throughout New Zealand, e.g. Northland, Whangarei, Auckland, Hamilton, Waikato, Tauranga, Eastland, Coromandel, Taupo, Palmerston North, Rotorua, Gisborne, Hastings, Napier, New Plymouth, Ruapehu, Wanganui, Wellington, Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt, Wairarapa, Kaikoura, Nelson, Christchurch, Dunedin, Blenheim, Queenstown, Wanaka, Cromwell, Mount Cook, Fiordland, Invercargill, Canterbury. No goods will be sent until full payment is received. Please note that payments into our account can sometimes take a couple of days to show at our end (particularly if you make a payment over the weekend, or around a public holiday). If you would prefer to collect, then payments can be made at the time of collection.

Click and Collect of goods

You are welcome to collect items from our showroom. All collections are only available from Fitness World NZ 1B Tainui Road, Saint Johns, Auckland. Collections are Tuesday –Friday 9am – 4.30pm and Saturday 8.30am-12pm.

Layby

We do offer a layby option on all purchases. You will need to pay at least 10% of the total cost (with freight) within the first 3 days, with each payment of no less than 10% of the original amount, per week, and paid in full within 10 weeks. Once the goods have been paid for in full, then they will be released. A Cancellation of the agreement by partie may occur during this period. If by the seller within the first 10 weeks a full refund will be given. If by the purchaser then 15% – 30% of the total value of the purchase at the time could be held to cover such expenses as , Storage ,Administration and Communication , Advertising ,Site fees such as Trademe, the possible devaluing of stock over this period, and the loss of sales due to running out of stock for other customers. If the goods are not paid for in full at the 10-week mark or no payments have been received from the buyer for over 14 days , the seller may cancel the agreement and charge these fees listed above, with the remainder being refunded. In the instance of a Layby any 10-day money back guarantee offer will be void .

Cancellation Costs

Fees  will Apply of about 15-30% of the full sale price  if the sale is cancelled (Which firstly needs to be  agreed to by Fitness World NZ ) for any reason or the goods returned  by the purchaser, which will include  Deposits paid for goods, but not yet received . This is to cover  Administration, Third party website fees, Advertising, restocking, storage, etc.

Finance

We do offer a finance option on all goods over $400. You must be over 18 yrs. and be subject to all normal lending requirements. Finance is through Gilrose Finance. When doing so, add in the amount you wish to finance (based on the product we sell) and our name Fitness World NZ Limited. If this is during working hours, we will get back to you within an hour. You do have the right to cancel the agreement within the first 5 working days but will be charged a fee between 10% – 20% the price of the goods, to cover costs. You will also need to return the product or pay for this to be done at your expense as we will not arrange this for you. Apply for Finance or see Rates here

Hire Equipment Terms – Quick Overview

Delivered and collected from your home – You will hire for a minimum period of 12 weeks, which are charged to a Visa, Master Card . If you don’t have one of these, we can’t hire you anything sorry.50% of the 12-week rental fee will be charged straight away and the remaining 50% will be charged in 6 weeks’ time. If you choose to hire for longer than the 12-week minimum, this will automatically be charged to your card in fortnightly periods until we hear from you. To return the equipment there is a 14-day notice period. The equipment can be delivered (Most of Auckland only) and collected when you are finished. Within the first 7 kilometers of Fitness World NZ this will be a free service then a fee of $2 per kilo meter thereafter per trip will be charged to your card. You will not be charged for repairs but will be charged for loss, damage, rental payments due. Collected and returned to Fitness World – If you would like to save on Delivery and collection fees you are welcome to collect and return the machine from Fitness World NZ – 1b Tainui Road, Saint Johns, PH 570 8962 . Please phone first, bring your Credit Card, also something with your address on it like a power or phone bill. Warranty

All new products will come with a minimum 12 months back to base warranty (excluding second hand products) and are sold to you as if the goods were to be used in a home situation only . The warranty starts from the date of payment, not from the first day of use. If not used in a home situation,  then Fitness World NZ should be made aware before any purchase to discuss this further. Some products may carry more than 12 months Warranty,  but this will be stated in the advertisement to apply. Defective products must be returned to Fitness World NZ, then collected again after any replacement or repairs. Fitness World NZ will not  pay your expenses to do that , such as your Time, Petrol, Courier fees to return any  goods, or have them replaced again afterwards. The warranty listed on our website does not apply if the damage is caused through improper use, not for what the products intended use is for or used in a commercial situation. All warranty claims must be accompanied by a valid Fitness World invoice or proof of Purchase. Your Warranty  is not Transferable to any third party.

Free Lifetime Servicing

We offer free servicing (Not parts) for the lifetime of that new product you purchase from Fitness World NZ LTD Please note- we will not come to your home to do this so the machine will need to be delivered to 1 B Tainui Road Saint Johns, Auckland . No Limits on how many Service’s – but you will need to provide your Invoice or Proof of purchase to receive this offer. Like the Warranty, This is not Transferable to a third party.

Credit card information security policy

Fitness world NZ use the DPS Payment Express Gateway for it’s online credit card transactions. DPS processes online credit card transactions securely for thousands of merchants globally, providing safe secure online service.

Payments are processed in real time

Fitness World NZ does not have access to your full card number. This credit card payment is secured by DPS. DPS have bank grade security. All transaction details are stored in their PCI-DSS complaint Data Centre. DPS Payment Express Software is certified with over 200 banks Globally. Money back guarantee

Some products listed for sale have a 10 day money back guarantee, not all of them. Please note it must specify this in the Advert or on the Product to apply, otherwise you will not have the right to claim this. This Guarantee is only valid for customers who have not seen the product in person and have chosen to buy over the internet or phone. This money back guarantee offer can only be used as intended, In good faith you are either happy with the product or not ONLY, no side issues related to the return of the goods. If claiming this, you must have collected the machine from Fitness World NZ or have had it delivered. You must have used the goods first, then you must return the product within 10 days ( We will not collect and arrange this return for you ) and pay for any freight expenses incurred.

Privacy

Under no circumstances will we pass any of your details on to a third party. All information supplied to Fitness World NZ Ltd is considered private and confidential.

Limitation of Liability

Buyers should read any instructions and take all necessary care and precautions prior to assembly of any equipment. Fitness World NZ Limited shall, in no event, be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damage arising from the purchase, hiring or service that’s offered at any time.
